Three COVID-19 cases identified on recent flights between Grande Prairie and Calgary

In the final days of April, 2021, three cases of COVID-19 were identified on flights that travelled between Grande Prairie and Calgary.

The first case was identified on the Air Canada/Jazz flight AC8479 from Calgary to Grande Prairie on April 28.

The second case was confirmed to be on Air Canada/Jazz flight number AC8476 from Grande Prairie to Calgary on April 29.

Both those instances don’t have known affected rows.

Also on April 29, Westjet’s flight WS3182 from Grande Prairie to Calgary had a confirmed COVID-19 cases on board. The affected rows in this flight was 13 to 19.

Passengers on board these flights, especially anyone in the affected row of the Westjet flight, are advised to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days. Anyone who develops symptoms is asked to quarantine and contact AHS right away.
