The 2021 PBR Canada Cup Series will be returning to the Swan City this October, as Grande Prairie will host an event from October 1-2.

This is the sixth season of the PBR Canada Cup series and this season there will be events held in six cities across Alberta and Saskatchewan.

The elite Cup Series features Canada’s top bull riders, alongside some of the PBR’s top international athletes, squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls in North America.

Grande Prairie is no stranger to hosting a big PBR event. This past November, Grande Prairie hosted the 2020 PBR Canada Finals at Revolution Place on November 5-7. The event was held with only sponsors in attendance because of COVID-19 restrictions.

This year’s national final will be held at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

This season’s PBR Canada Cup Series schedule shapes up as follows:

  • August 27-28 – Lethbridge, Alberta – ENMAX Centre
  • October 1-2 – Grande Prairie, Alberta – Revolution Place
  • October 15-16 – Medicine Hat, Alberta – Canalta Centre
  • October 22-23 – Calgary, Alberta – Nutrien Western Event Centre
  • October 29-30 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – SaskTel Centre
  • *November 12-13 – Edmonton, Alberta – Rogers Place

The events will be televised on TSN, or online via RidePass.

Tickets for the event are expected to go on sale in the near future.

All PBR Canada events are subject to change and are planned in accordance with directives issued by relevant government and health authorities, given the evolving regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
