Road Work

Construction starts on Range Road 53 from Township 712 to 714 Tuesday

Construction work is set to start Tuesday on Range Road 53 from Township Road 712 north to Township Road 714.

The work will include digging out the existing road structure to re-align, level, and widen it, then build a new road from the bottom up.

Drivers may face moderate delays while work is ongoing. Speed will also be reduced in the construction zones, while traffic may be reduced to a single alternating lane, be temporarily detoured, or have rough non-gravel driving surfaces.

Motorists are asked to obey all signage and flag persons and use caution when driving through the site.

Work is expected to finish by the end of July but is weather dependent.

Along with that work, construction has also started in the road right of way on Township Road 714 between Carriage Lane Drive and Range Road 53. This project involves the extension of the sanitary sewer system and water distribution system.

Traffic may experience minor delays as signage will be in place and temporary lane restrictions may be in place.

That work is expected to finish by the end of August but is also weather dependant.
