Sinkhole opens along 98 Street at 101 Avenue; southbound traffic being rerouted

The City of Grande Prairie says all southbound traffic on 98 Street at 101 Avenue is being rerouted at this time due to a sinkhole.
Emergency crews are onsite to assist with rerouting traffic and to maintain public safety while city crews look to establish a barricade in the area. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and to follow the direction of emergency crews.
