GPRC Wolves Women’s Basketball takes significant steps in 2018-2019 season

The GPRC Wolves Women’s Baseball team’s season has been over for almost two weeks and during this time it has provided a chance to reflect on the season for the team and the staff.

Head Coach Mandy Botham shares how she thought there was tremendous growth in her young squad from the beginning to the end of the season.

“When I started looking back at the things we were doing at the beginning of the year and how we were playing, the thing which struck me was just how much the athletes have improved. Individually and collectively how much they have improved.”

Despite just 1 win this season for the team, Botham notes the club is heading in the right direction.

“We didn’t get the results we wanted when it comes to wins and losses, but we will take a few weeks off and then get back to things and start building on the skills and systems which we will use next year.”

Due to the young team this year for the Wolves, most of the club will be back for the 2019-2020 season which begins in September.
