The good to excellent breakdown by crop is 27.5 per cent for oats, 20.4 for dry peas, 16 for barley, 13.7 for spring wheat, and 13.3 for canola.

The report says isolated showers in some places are helping crops fill.

Haying was 97 per cent complete with yields around .8 tons an acre, almost half the average.

Twenty per cent of the hay is rated good to excellent.
