Aug 5, 2021 | 4:49 PM

Rycroft’s Max Sekulic has won the 2021 Canadian Amateur Golf Championship.

Sekulic birdied three of the last four holes in his final round Thursday at the Ambassador Golf Club in Windsor, Ontario.

That left Sekulic at 17 strokes under par for the tournament, good enough for a two stroke victory.

Sekulic had gone into the final round tied for fourth place, three shots off the lead. He shot a five under 66 on Thursday.

Next up for the Rycroft product, who also plays for the Washington State University men’s golf team, is the 121st US Amateur Championship, which goes August 9-15 from the Oakmont Country Club, just outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
