Suspects sought following armed robbery at Grande Prairie hotel
Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for help from the public to identify three suspects who they say robbed the bar of a Grande Prairie hotel on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say at approximately 4:26 p.m. August 18, they were notified of the reported robbery at the hotel in the area of 114 Street and 100 Avenue.
Mounties believe two females and one male, who were all wearing face coverings and hooded sweatshirts, entered the bar area of the hotel armed with firearms.
Police say the suspects threatened the employees in the building before the three suspects stole a quantity of cash, then fled from the store in what is believed to be a newer blue Chevrolet Impala.
