Grande Prairie-Mackenzie virtual candidates forum goes Wednesday evening

An all-candidates forum for the Grande Prairie-Mackenzie riding is being held virtually by the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce Wednesday evening, ahead of the September 20 federal election.

The forum is being held over Zoom from 7-9 p.m. and registration is required to attend the event, which can be done by clicking here. Questions can be pre-submitted to the chamber by emailing them to news@gpchamber.com.

There are six candidates who are running in the Grande Prairie-Mackenzie riding in the September 20 federal election, those include:

  • Dan Campbell, Liberal Party of Canada
  • Donovan Eckstrom, Rhinoceros Party
  • Shawn McLean, People’s Party of Canada
  • Ambrose Ralph, Maverick Party
  • Jennifer Villebrun, New Democrat Party
  • Chris Warkentin, Conservative Party

Chamber CEO Tanya Oliver says five of the candidates have confirmed their attendance for the forum, with Liberal candidate Dan Campbell being the only one who has not confirmed their attendance.
