UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP say missing 26-year-old located safe

UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP advise Shakona Mineault has been located safe. They thank the public for their assistance.

The Grande Prairie RCMP is seeking the public’s help in locating 25-year-old Shakona Mineault.

She was last seen in Grande Prairie on September 4 and police want to verify her well-being.

Mineault is described as:

  • 5’6” tall
  • 140 lbs
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Last seen wearing a blue ball cap, black boots, white hoodie and a white skirt hoodie

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Grande Prairie at 780-830-5700 or your local police.
