Grande Prairie RCMP say a drug bust last month has led to charges against three people.

Mounties conducted two searches in the Swan City on August 14. Police did not say where the searches took place.

RCMP say they seized 260 grams of cocaine, 32 grams of fentanyl, 17 grams of crystal meth, a loaded 9mm handgun, $29,000 cash, plus other items related to selling drugs.

Two adults from Grande Prairie, 28-year-old Jordan Monette and 38-year-old Meagan Harris, are each facing two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.

A 17-year-old male youth is also facing two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm, three other firearms charges, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000. He has been released from custody and is due in Grande Prairie court September 27.

Monette and Harris have been released on undertakings and are due back in court October 13.
