County to install speed hump in Wedgewood, perform bridge maintenance on RR 111

Sep 16, 2021 | 7:09 AM

Construction is planned to begin in the Wedgewood subdivision on Friday, September 17 with the installation of a speed hump.

On that day a permanent speed hump will be constructed in the subdivision at 9418 Wedgewood Drive South at the walking trail that connects the two parks.

As a result of the installation, traffic will be disrupted and motorists may experience closures for a short period of time. Motorists are being advised to avoid the location if possible. Work is expected to be completed in one day.

Then on September 20, a section of Range Road 111 between Township Road 730 and Highway 672 will close from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for bridge maintenance.

Traffic can detour using Township Road 730 and Highway 672 to access Range Road 111. The maintenance is expected to be completed in two days.

Motorists are advised to obey all signs, flag persons and exercise extreme caution when travelling around the closure.
