Snow possible over next few days in Grande Prairie area
The forecast for the Grande Prairie area shows the region could see the snowflakes fly for the first time this fall.
Environment Canada is predicting that between Monday and Wednesday a cold front will make its way into the region, potentially bringing snow with it.
Justin Shelley, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, says while there is snow heading towards the region, it likely won’t stick to the ground.
“The precipitation should be mainly rain, or maybe a bit of mixing with some wet snow,” said Shelley.
