March 7, 1938 – October 26, 2021

Mary Ann Jones, (Mom) a long-time resident of Beaverlodge, AB, changed her address to Paradise on October 26, 2021, at the age of 83 years at Prairie Lake Hospice in Grande Prairie, AB.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents Walter and Dora Dyrkach and her husband William Jones.

Loving mother of Ron Jones (Gail) and Danny Jones (Liz) of Beaverlodge and Donna Jones of Barrie, ON.

Fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Courtney Jones (Tim), Darnell Jones (Julia) and Tyrell Jones (Erin), Charlie Schweitzer and Sydney Schweitzer (Dre), Dace Gilfillan (Marissa), Jayel Gilfillan (Jeremy), Kale Gilfillan (Hayley) and Rayna Gilfillan and great grandchildren Kase, Avery, Beau, Austin and Elliot.

Mary Ann leaves to mourn: her brothers Jim (Maxine), Bill (Faye) and Brian Dyrkach (Todd), sisters Margaret Heron (Glenn) and Rose McNeil (Calvin) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom leaves a rich legacy of love and devotion. She will always be remembered for her cooking, baking, remembering everyone’s special days, their favourite foods, and her amazing gift of hospitality. We take comfort in knowing she and Dad are reunited and will be dearly missed until we meet again.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Clow and Dr. Barreth for their gift of care for our Mom.

Also, we want to acknowledge and thank the Beaverlodge Home Care Nurses and staff at the Prairie Lake Hospice in Grande Prairie, who went over and above during our Mom’s stay, serving her and our family in a way that was kind, loving, compassionate – it will never be forgotten.
