Missing Fort St. John man may have been driving to Grande Prairie

UPDATE: RCMP say that Joesph Delaronde has been located safe in Fort St. John without incident. The RCMP thanks the public for their help.

Fort St. John RCMP say they are looking for a missing man.

Joseph Delaronde is 28 years old. He is described as Indigenous, 5’10”, 210 pounds, with green eyes and black hair.

He was last seen on October 23 at 9824 99 Avenue in Fort St. John and had said he was driving someone to Grande Prairie and did not know when he would be back.

Mounties say they had received a report that same day from a third party that Delaronde had been the victim of an assault, but information found when they followed up did not match the initial report.
