Five Mile Hall Intersection

Three sent to hospital following serious collision east of Grande Prairie

A two-vehicle collision at the Five Mile Hall intersection Saturday has sent three people to hospital.

At 11:00 a.m. on October 30, Grande Prairie RCMP and emergency crews were called to the collision involving two pickup trucks at Township Road 714 and Range Road 53.

Mounties say a preliminary investigation suggests the truck travelling southbound on Range Road 53 failed to stop at a stop sign on Township Road 714, colliding with the other truck which was travelling eastbound.

The adult male who was driving the southbound pickup truck at the time was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The adult female driver and male youth passenger of the eastbound pickup truck were also taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
