County of Grande Prairie wins 2021 National Public Works Week Award Contest
The County of Grande Prairie has been selected as the winner of the Canadian Public Works Association (CPWA) 2021 National Public Works Week (NPWW).
NPWW occurs in May of each year and looks to recognize men and women in North America who provide public works services, through initiatives such as projects, initiatives, parades, open houses, etc.
“Public Works is responsible for the delivery of important services to our communities, and National Public Works Week is a great way to recognize that critical role,” said CPWA Past President Patty Podoborozny.
“By engaging residents in activities that highlight public works, Grande Prairie’s excellent outreach and public relations efforts show how central these services and personnel are to our communities.”
