Serious injuries for one driver after crash near Sexsmith

Grande Prairie RCMP say one person has been taken to hospital after a collision near Sexsmith Monday.

Mounties say a southbound semi and eastbound SUV collided near Highway 2 and Township Road 734.

The woman driving the SUV was taken to hospital with what police call serious injuries. The semi driver was not hurt.

The investigation continues.

RCMP say southbound Highway 2 in that area is down to one lane while the crash is cleared.
