Police investigating suspicious death in Sucker Creek

RCMP are investigating a suspicious death on the Sucker Creek First Nation.

The Lakeshore Regional Police and High Prairie RCMP were called out early Friday to a reported assault with a weapon at a home in Sucker Creek First Nation.

Police say a 35-year-old man was found dead.

The name of the man’s name or how he died have not been released.

The Alberta Major Crimes Unit is now part of the investigation.
