MD of Greenview names 2021 Farm Family of the Year

Jerome and Liz Isaac of Harper Creek Agro has been named the 2021 Farm Family of the Year.

The couple manages several thousand acres of cropland, a barn full of chickens, and a feed mill.

They are third-generation farmers with their land in the Harper Creek area. Jerome’s grandfather came to the Harper Creek area and broke land for a homestead in 1936.

For more than 50 years, farm families from northern and central Alberta communities have been recognized as recipients of the Farm Family Award.

Agricultural Service Boards from northern and central Alberta nominate outstanding families who best represent the values of the family farm within their rural community.
