Tenille Townes adds two more CCMA awards to trophy case

Grande Prairie’s Tenille Townes was a double winner as the Canadian Country Music Association Awards were handed out in London, Ontario on Monday night.
Townes won her third straight female artist of the year award, and also picked up album of the year for “The Lemonade Stand”.
Townes and La Crete’s High Valley were both also nominated for the Fans Choice award, which was claimed by fellow Albertan Brett Kissel.
High Valley was also nominated for single of the year and duo or group of the year, losing out in those awards to Dallas Smith and the Reklaws respectively.
