RCMP investigating fatal rollover near Highway 672

The Grande Prairie RCMP and emergency crews are on the scene at Highway 672 (Emerson Trail) and Range Road 70 in the County of Grande Prairie following the report of a single-vehicle rollover involving a tanker truck Wednesday morning.

There were two men inside the vehicle at the time of the rollover. Mounties say the adult male passenger of the vehicle was confirmed dead at the scene, while the driver of the vehicle has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic is moving on that road once again.

Grande Prairie RCMP continues to investigate. No further updates will be provided and the name of the deceased will not be released.
