Special weather statement issued for Grande Prairie area

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Grande Prairie area.
The County of Grande Prairie and M.D. of Greenview are included in the statement.
The weather office says there is potential for freezing rain for northern, central and southern Alberta starting tonight and Wednesday morning.
They add the greatest potential for freezing rain will be areas between Whitecourt and Edmonton overnight and into the morning hours.
