Extreme cold warning back in effect for Grande Prairie region

Environment Canada has issued another extreme cold warning for the Grande Prairie region.

This includes the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview forecast area.

The warning comes as most places in the region are expected to see temperatures drop into the minus 30’s.

Environment Canada reminds residents to cover up if going outside, as frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin.

“If it’s too cold for you to stay outside, it’s too cold for your pet to stay outside.”
