Sinkhole closes 115 Avenue & 99 Street intersection

The Grande Prairie RCMP says it has closed the intersection of 115 Avenue & 99 Street due to a sinkhole that opened up inside the road.

At this time, drivers are being asked to choose another route and avoid the intersection.

Police add crews are on the scene working to resolve the issue. They did not give a specific time for when the intersection could re-open to traffic.
