Parking bans on priority two routes start Monday

The City of Grande Prairie will be introducing parking bans on permanent snow routes February 7.

This means parking on priority two routes is prohibited from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

City officials say parking bans come into effect to ensure safe access to roadways during snow removal operations.

The city snow removal crews are continuing to plow and sand the priority road network.

Residents may view a map of priority routes online.
