Canada earns four medals on Day 3 of Beijing games

Canada has tripled its medal haul at the 2022 Beijing Olympics after a four medal day.

Bromont, Quebec’s Max Parrot won Canada’s first gold medal of the Beijing Olympics in men’s snowboard slopestyle. Regina’s Mark McMorris won his third straight Olympic slopestyle bronze.

Kim Boutin claimed bronze in the women’s short track speed skating 500 metre event.

Canada also claimed its first-ever ski jumping medal by winning bronze in the inaugural mixed team ski jumping event.

Canada now has one gold, one silver, and four bronze medals.
