City parking bans kick in Tuesday

Parking bans will be in place on permanent snow routes as of 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1 in Grande Prairie.

The parking ban restricts parking on priority 2 routes from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Priority 2 routes include transit bus routes and major collector roadways such as Crystal Lake Drive, Mission Heights Drive, Poplar Drive, Royal Oaks Drive.

The city says the bans make it easier for crews to plow the snow.
