Alberta Mixed Curling Championship begins Wednesday

The Alberta mixed curling championship runs Wednesday through Sunday in Black Diamond at the Oilfields Curling Club.
The Graham Powell rink from Sexsmith Curling Club and the Craig McAlpine foursome based at the Beaverlodge Curling Club and the Granite Club in Edmonton advanced to provincials from the qualifier played in Beaverlodge.
Draw 1 starts at 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Powell will play the Cole Adams rink from St. Albert.
McAlpine will be up against the Jessica Wytrychowski team from Airdrie.
