Mystik Ridge home “significantly” damaged in morning fire

A Mystik Ridge home has been “significantly damaged” after an early morning fire.

“The structure fire is currently under investigation,” said Bart Johnson, deputy chief with the County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service.

“Upon our arrival, we went on the defensive. The structure was severely damaged, and the fire got into the roof.”

He said there was no interior attack due to the state of the fire when crews began fighting the blaze. The home was located south of Grande Prairie.
