No injuries reported following major west side house fire

The Grande Prairie Fire Department says no injuries have been reported following a major house fire that occurred on the west side of Grande Prairie early Wednesday evening.

The fire department says it arrived at a house in the Pinnacle neighbourhood and noticed a fast-moving fire from a two-story house with flames impinging on neighbouring houses.

Crews had to work hard to protect two adjacent properties.

Crews say there has been major damage to the home where the fire originated, while moderate damage to a second home and minor damage to a third home adjacent to the home the fire originated from.
