Drug, weapons charges result from traffic stop near Falher
McLennan RCMP say a traffic stop led to a drug seizure and 21 charges against a suspect from Peace River.
Mounties say on Sunday, April 10 at around 9 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle just north of Falher.
The officer then found a drug investigation was needed and arrested the driver.
A search of the vehicle turned up what police think is both cocaine and methamphetamine. Mounties also found a stolen shotgun and a .22 calibre firearm, both of which had been altered to make them prohibited weapons. Police also seized replica handguns, a switchblade and a taser.
