Suspect sought in weekend stabbing in High Level

RCMP in High Level are investigating a stabbing in that community.

They say they were called to the area of 97th street and 98th avenue in High Level at around 1:20 Friday afternoon, where they found a 31-year-old suffering from several stab wounds.

It’s believed the attack occurred between 12:45 and 1:15 pm on Friday outside of either Caesar’s Liquor Store or the Sweet Dreams Inn.

The victim was transported to hospital in stable condition.

Anyone who may have seen the incident or have dashcam footage of this area at that time are asked to contact the High Level RCMP, or Crimestoppers.
