Grande Prairie’s Alexander Martinez begins second PFL season

Grande Prairie’s Alexander Martinez will begin his second PFL (Professional Fighting League) season on Wednesday night when he faces off against Steve Ray.

Martinez holds a professional record of 8-2-0 and last fought Loik Radzhabov in the PFL semi-final back on August 13.

Martinez turned heads in PFL last season when he defeated that same Radzhabov (the former PFL finalist) on April 23 on short notice in what was his first fight in the league.

Meantime, Ray has only fought once since October 2019. He used to be signed by the UFC.
