Local hockey players named to Prospects Cup rosters

Several players from the Peace region have been named to the two North teams taking part in this year’s Prospects Cup hockey tournament.

Kai Ducharme and Kade Hughes of Grande Prairie, Ryder Johnsen and Nathan Jones from the County of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge’s Luke Dumas, and La Crete’s Kade Peters are all on the North Blue team.

The North Grey team includes Tyrie Ehrenberg of Beaverlodge, and Lachlan Rodger of Grande Prairie.

This year’s showcase of the top 2009-born hockey players in the province goes May 12-15 in Red Deer.
