$100,000 lottery win for Grande Prairie man

A Grande Prairie man has won a $100,000 prize in the LOTTO MAX EXTRA draw.

Chad Periot first thought he had won $100 but found it was a lot more than that after checking again on the Lotto Spot! app.

“I looked again; I saw more zeroes,” says Periot in a release, adding “It still doesn’t feel real.”

He bought the winning ticket at the Circle K on Pinnacle Street and plans to use some money for renovations and to save the rest.
