Former GP Storm goalie to play for Canada at World Championships

Grande Prairie Storm Alumni Logan Thompson has been chosen as one of Canada’s goalies for the upcoming World Hockey Championships.

Logan played 22 games with the Storm back in the 2014-15 season, posting a 3.38 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage as a 17-year-old.

He will join a lineup that is highlighted by forwards Mathew Barzal, Pierre-Luc Dubois, and Josh Anderson, and defenceman Thomas Chabot.

Canada has their first game against Germany on May 13th.
