Eastlink Triathlon registration closes Sunday

Update:

The City of Grande Prairie has extended the Eastlink Triathlon to Monday, July 4.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Eastlink Centre, they have worked with the City of Grande Prairie to bring back the Eastlink Triathlon following a three-year hiatus.

However, registration closes on Sunday, July 3.

This year’s triathlon will involve a number of different categories from: Try-a-Tri, Sprint, Team Relay, and Kids of Steel.

There are still free spots available for Kids of Steel to join the triathlon.

Athletes that partake in the triathlon will get a free carb load dinner from Red Rock Urban BBQ the night before the race, a free t-shirt, towel, commemorative glass, a branded backpack, and of course a medal.

The City is still looking for volunteers and they will also receive a free t-shirt and breakfast the day of the event.

To celebrate the return of the triathlon and the 10-year anniversary of the Eastlink Centre, the Triathlon Alberta Day membership will be included in the price and Eastlink members will receive 10% off the triathlon price.
