Ron Pfau Memorial Scholarship open for County of Grande Prairie residents

Students from the County of Grande Prairie that are enrolled or entering certain post-secondary studies at an Alberta institution can apply for the Ron Pfau Memorial Scholarship.

Applications are open and the scholarship was formed in memory of long-time administrator Ron Pfau, who served as the County’s Chief Administrative Officer for over 20 years.

Applicants must be:

• Currently live in the County of Grande Prairie, or have previously lived and still have parents/guardians living in the County of Grande Prairie
• A Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
• Entering or enrolled in an Alberta post-secondary education institution in the field’s of business, commerce, or public office administration.

One successful applicant will receive a $500 scholarship.

Academic achievement, community involvement in a club, athletic or cultural activities, volunteerism, personal projects and other achievements will be considered by the selection committee for selecting the recipient.

Applications must be submitted by November 1, 2022 and the form to apply can be found on the County’s website.
