Central Peace Health Complex emergency department will be without physician coverage until Friday

The Central Peace Health Complex emergency department will be without a physician until Friday, July 15.

Patients requiring medical care during this time are still asked to call 911 and they will be re-routed to Fairview Health Complex, Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital, or Valleyview Health Centre.

Nursing staff will remain in the Central Peace Health Complex emergency department to provide triage and assessments.

Depending on their needs, patients seeking care in the emergency department can also use services available through local pharmacies.

Alberta Health Services is working to ensure residents can access the care they need and wants to thank residents for their patience at this time.
