Beaverlodge ER closed overnight Saturday

Alberta Health Services says the emergency department at the Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital will be closed from 7 pm on Saturday, July 23 to 8 am Sunday, July 24.

AHS says patients are still asked to call 911 if they have an emergency. Calls will be rerouted to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital or the Central Peace Health Complex in Spirit River.

AHS also says people can call Health Link at 811 24 hours a day, seven days a week for health information.

A release from AHS goes on to say it is thankful for the community’s patience and understanding and for the support of other health care centres and staff.
