Motorcycle driver dead after collision Sunday in Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie RCMP says a motorcycle driver has died after a collision between his machine and a pick-up.

Mounties say the collision happened around 12:45 Sunday afternoon at 108 Street and 79 Avenue.

Police say a preliminary investigation has found a motorcycle northbound on 108 Street collided with a pickup that had turned to go east on 79 Avenue.

The man driving the motorcycle died at the scene. The driver of the truck was not hurt.

RCMP says the name of the man that died will not be released.
