Jul 28, 2022 | 10:19 PM

Update:

White Horse RCMP has located the missing travelers Owen and Susan Konski, they want to thank everyone who helped assist them in this investigation.

The missing travelers are safe and though there were reports of them contacting family members Thursday, July 28, RCMP cannot close a missing persons case until they are found.

White Horse RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating overdue travelers, Owen and Susan Konski.

The couple, both in their early 60’s were last known to be in Whitehorse on July 20 or 21, before heading south on the Alaska Highway.

They are believed to be driving a white 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck with an Alberta license plate and towing a 30′ long, fifth-wheel travel trailer.

Attempts to contact the two from their family have been unsuccessful since July 19, and they are worried for their safety.

Police believe they are travelling home to Alberta and have done patrols in areas along the highways but have not found any leads regarding the couple at this point.

Susan is described as having long white hair and green eyes, and is 5’6″. Owen is described as a Caucasian man with medium-length gray/white hair, gray eyes, and a goatee. He wears glasses.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact their local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
