Northwestern Polytechnic signs Memorandum of Understanding with Ireland-based university

Aug 12, 2022 | 11:37 AM

Northwestern Polytechnic has signed an international partnership with a school based in Kerry, Ireland.

The agreement between NWP and Munster Technological University will create greater program pathways for students while also increasing access to exchange opportunities and enhancing shared entrepreneurial priorities.

Recent NWP Business Administration graduate John Tiede will be the first benefactor of the new partnership.

Tiede has been accepted into stage three of MTU’s Bachelor of Business Management program and will make the over 6,400 km trek later this month to begin preparing for his studies.

While in Ireland, Tiede will discuss the benefits of NWP with students at MTU as well as keep everyone posted about his experience through social media and a newly created blog.

In a release, NWP president and CEO Justin Kohlman says the agreement is another example of the school’s commitment to growing its global network and providing quality academic experiences to its students.
