Grande Prairie RCMP report fatal collision

On Friday, August 12, 2022, the Grande Prairie RCMP along with Emergency Services responded to a single vehicle that had gone off a back road in the County of Grande Prairie.

The collision was at Township Road 710 and Range Road 72.

A 54-year-old man and lone occupant of the vehicle, a resident of Grande Prairie, was declared deceased on the scene.

The name of the deceased will not be released by authorities.

Mounties are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision and no further updates are anticipated.
