Aug 17, 2022 | 4:45 PM
Environment Canada has issued heat warnings for nearly all of Alberta, including the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview, Peace River-Fairview-High Prairie-Manning, and Slave Lake forecast areas.
The weather office says daily highs close to 30 and overnight temperatures in the mid to high teens are expected Thursday and Friday.
It is supposed to cool off this weekend.
People are being asked to consider rescheduling outdoor activities to the cooler part of the day, take frequent breaks, and stay hydrated.
