Culvert replacement means closure of a portion of Range road 53

A portion of Range road 53 will be closed starting today as city crews begin the process of replacing culverts in that area.

Between now and mid-September, twin CSP arch culverts will be removed and replaced with two precast concrete box culverts.

Range Road 53 will be closed from Highway 670 to Highway 43 to allow for this work to be done.

A detour has been set up for local traffic to access areas north of the construction zone.

Drivers are reminded to obey all signage and to watch for construction workers in that area.
