One person dead after Saturday collision near Alberta-BC border

One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash near the Alberta-BC border on Saturday.

Beaverlodge RCMP say the crash, which involved a semi and a pickup, happened around 5:15 pm on Saturday on Highway 43 at Range Road 133.

They say the driver of the pickup, a 53-year-old man from Pouce Coupe, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No information was given on the condition of the driver of the semi, and Mounties say no further updates on this incident will be provided.
