The Royal Canadian Legion will have ceremonies for Queen Elizabeth II

On Monday, September 19th, the Royal Canadian Legion will be remembering Queen Elizabeth II with ceremonies at the cenotaph in Jubilee Park.

The event will start at 10:30 a.m. with marchers going to their position at 10:45 a.m. The mayor will arrive at 10:50, and at 11:00 a.m. there will be a moment of silence (two-minute duration).

If any veterans, Canadian Armed Forces, Commissionaires, RCMP, or cadets wish to join the colour guard in the march, they should be at the Royal Canadian Legion by 10 a.m.

Anyone attending the ceremonies is asked to dress formally, if available.
