Fort Vermilion RCMP investigating assault in La Crete

RCMP in Fort Vermillion are looking to identify a male suspect in an alleged assault in La Crete.
Mounties say early Sunday morning, a 23-year-old woman responded to a noise outside of her home, when she was approached by the suspect, who reportedly pushed her to the ground and inappropriately touched her before fleeing the scene on foot.
The man is described as 5 foot 7 with a medium build and wearing glasses.
RCMP are asking anyone that saw anything suspicious in La Crete at around 4 am Sunday to contact the Fort Vermillion detachment at 780-927-3258.
